Oh, how wonderful! We’re grandparents again!
A few years ago, our daughter bought my husband a T-shirt
that says, “This is what a cool grandpa looks like.” I told him he should wear
it today.
Our son and his wife have welcomed their second son into
this world. He is beautiful; grandmas can say those things. I
checked out his ears, nose, and toes. Even though we’re thousands of miles
away, it’s amazing what pictures will do for a grandma’s heart.
Our fourth grandson. (They’re all boys so far.) Sweet
little baby boy.
Here are some of my hopes and prayers for you, Little
One:
- May you come to know the Lord at a young age.
- May you have lots of fun being a child.
- May you honor and obey your parents.
- May you be a great playmate for your brother.
- May we get to know you personally and build a relationship with you.
- May you love God’s Word.
- May you grow and change and mature into a man who genuinely loves God.
- May the Lord bless you.

We’re thankful for the children God gave to us and for the sons the Lord has given to them and their spouses. How wonderful to have a new grandchild!
But the mercy of
the LORD is from everlasting
to everlasting upon them that fear him,
to everlasting upon them that fear him,
and his
righteousness unto children’s children.
(Psalm 103:17)

DeleteCongratulations! It's so wonderful to have the technology we have today to see and visit with them.
ReplyDeleteYes, Skyped with him today. He likes to look around, and he has a good, lusty cry. We are so thankful that he and his mother are doing fine.
