Thank you for your input on this. I'm guessing in heaven we'll all speak the same language and have no issues. I do believe that Moses was well-equipped for this task that God had given him. I do believe that he was giving excuses. After all, he was raised in Egypt. However, I do not necessarily believe he was saying he had a speech impediment. The Bible says that he was "of slow speech, and of a slow tongue." I think he felt like he had lost some of the Egyptian language since he'd had been gone for forty years. He probably didn't use Egyptian where he was. I could be wrong, but I know when folks ask me how my language learning is coming along in the country I live in, I say something to the effect of slowly. So, there's my two cents! <br />RFhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00793163850017881902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2150363806357767058.post-46476063931734322602015-05-30T07:20:21.496+02:002015-05-30T07:20:21.496+02:00Of course, it's only my thoughts. "God doesn't call the equipped, He equips the called." someone said, but I think He had already 'equipped' Moses, raised in a place where he would have had to be able to speak well... as a possible future pharaoh. Interesting thoughts. :) ThanksAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04817796350348463518noreply@blogger.com
