The Bible prohibits us from embracing those who refuse to listen to sound counsel and do not repent. However, it is so very important for the church to uplift those who DO do the right thing. They need our love and support. We're also to love the unsaved and present the gospel to them. They need Christ, and then they will lead changed lives, like "Juan" above. Thank you so much for your comment.<br />Lou Ann Keiserhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02684047509152182217noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2150363806357767058.post-69429621330706187102015-09-13T04:09:58.642+02:002015-09-13T04:09:58.642+02:00First, let me say that I completely agree! Unfortunately, what I am finding even more often than that, are Christians wanting to accept those with open and flagrant sin in their lives. When "Kellie" gets pregnant outside of marriage, shows no remorse for the sin, and then the church ladies want to throw her a baby shower. It saddens me deeply that we don't expect Christians to be a "peculiar people" anymore. It gets harder every day to tell the difference between them and the world!Beckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11023922387640022546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2150363806357767058.post-45941635600206491752015-09-11T21:43:40.539+02:002015-09-11T21:43:40.539+02:00Let's hope we'd do the right thing! Sometimes I wonder what the modern church would do if a Mary Magdalene or a Jacob or even a David wanted to be part of their church.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
